6th Generation Family Business Achieves Woman Owned Small Business Certification

Like her predecessors, Kellogg takes a long-term view of the business with an eye to passing it on the next generation.

The company also invests in everything from the local arts – funding a free day at the Mattatuck Museum for Waterbury public school students – to more international giving such as donating clean drinking water to a school in Kenya, which was made possible using a portion of the profits from the AquaPure wastewater treatment product line.

The WBENC certification validates that Hubbard-Hall is owned, controlled and managed by a woman. To obtain this certification requires extensive documentation and an interview process. It is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations representing America’s most prestigious brands, in addition to many states, cities and other entities.
